Leadership Development

Leadership Development means committing to grow oneself as a leader to be able to grow and sustain a healthy system. This journey involves working both within oneself and in relationships with others. We discover who we are as leaders through practice, feedback, and in community.

I believe that leaders should be able to grow and learn through the process of Safe Growth.

  • Safe Growth is being allowed to make mistakes and be in learning mode.

  • Safe Growth feels exciting and intentional.

  • Safe Growth doesn’t feel like obligation to solve problems that are outside of your reach or being called upon to overfunction in response to a dysfunctional system.

In front of her, there's an open book, a notepad with a pen, a coffee mug, and a closed laptop on a wooden table. The background shows art on the walls, hanging pendant lights, and some indoor plants.

“Working one-on-one with Martha has been instrumental as I advance in my career — having a sounding board as I begin a new role with a new level of oversight has allowed for continual reflection and improvement to ensure I am showing up to my role as the best version of myself, which in turn benefits our organization as a whole.”
